Engineer Lead

Responsibilities: 

Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: Expert in multiple (e.g., Golang, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, PHP, Ruby, Kotlin, Swift, etc.).
• Frameworks: .NET Core, Spring Boot, Express.js, Django, Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform.
• Integration Tools: Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Talend, Zapier, Azure Logic Apps, etc.
• Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Oracle, MS SQL Server.
• APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, SOAP.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Version Control & Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis through to deployment and support.
• Set the technical direction for projects and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices.
• Review code, mentor team members, and ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
• Make architectural decisions and evaluate new technologies and frameworks.
• Provide solutions for system integrations, data flows, and interoperability.

Team Management & Mentoring

• Manage and guide a team of software engineers and junior developers.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, skills assessments, and provide career development plans.
• Manage task assignments, sprint planning, and delivery timelines.

System Integration

• Design and develop system integration solutions between heterogeneous IT systems (digital applications, ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, legacy applications, APIs, etc.).
• Ensure proper implementation of APIs, SDKs, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security teams to deploy and manage integration environments.

Project Delivery

• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, estimation, and planning with clients and project managers.
• Deliver software solutions on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and version control throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities by supporting solution proposals, RFPs, and client meetings.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure coding practices.
• Ensure software meets compliance standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific requirements.
• Support audits and documentation for integrated systems.
