About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide accurate, timely, and business-oriented legal support across commercial, operational, regulatory, and corporate functions. You will play a key role in drafting contracts, mitigating legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting corporate governance while protecting the Company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract & Commercial Management:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements, including service contracts, procurement agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and joint venture/cooperation contracts.

  • Identify contractual risks, evaluate business implications, and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

• Corporate Governance & Notarial Actions:

  • Handle corporate legal documentation, shareholder resolutions, and amendments to Articles of Association.

  • Manage corporate records, contract databases, business licenses, and official regulatory filings.

  • Coordinate directly with notaries and legal authorities to execute deeds and manage corporate actions.

• Regulatory Compliance & Legal Advisory:

  • Conduct legal research and monitor updates to Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly those impacting the energy and power sectors.

  • Perform regulatory risk assessments and prepare concise legal opinions, memoranda, and recommendations for management.

  • Advise internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Finance) to ensure business alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise effectively with external partners, government regulators, external legal counsel, vendors, and internal business units.
